Anton Paar develops and produces state-of-the-art laboratory and process instrumentation for research and industry. It is the world leader in the measurement of density, concentration and CO2 and in the field of Rheology. Anton Paar Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Austrian company Anton Paar GmbH. We are looking for a Sales Specialist for the Cape Town region, who will be responsible for the sustainable growth of Sales of the Anton Paar Products in his/her region or territory (Cape Town).
Duties and Responsibilities
1- Direct sales of Anton Paar equipment and services to customer.
2- Effective management of existing customer accounts and the generation of new revenue through prospecting, lead/funnel follow-up and effective territory management in a broad base of industries and applications.
3- Visit customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations, perform instrumentation demonstrations and installations of new products as well as training customers on the correct use of equipment.
4- Administrative responsibilities include preparation of quotes, CRM management and territory reporting on a regular basis.
5- Application Support.
6- Support Product Managers with market development.
7- Management of Key accounts.
8- Frequent travel will be required.
> Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or in another technical discipline is required.
> At least 4-7 years’ experience in technical sales of analytical instruments.
> Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
> Must possess strong analytical problem solving skills.
> Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
> Ability to work independently and responsibly within a small team.
> Must reside in Cape Town (applicants outside of this regions will not be accepted).
