GOVERNANCE AND COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST X1
2 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT
Develop, Coordinate, Manage and drive the development , application , evaluation, monitoring and reporting of all relevant and required policies, standards, frameworks, processes and compliance for the organisation.
Develop, plan, implement and drive a Governance and Compliance division in alignment with the Ekurhuleni Housing Company’s Strategy.
Coordinate, manage and drive the Governance and Compliance processes, functions and systems for the Organisation.
Participate in the development, Management of EHC’s development programmes and enable effective roll out and implementation.
Manage the development and implementation of operational plans to meet established annual objectives.
Strategically manage internal and external stakeholder relations in respect of governance and compliance.
Ensure the programme and projects of the organisation are developed in line with best practice approaches in pursuance of delivery of sustainable social housing projects.
Ensure the development of a high performance team that delivers timeously on objectives.

• Relevant Degree in Corporate Governance , Compliance and Risk Management, Public Management and Administration (NQF level 7)
• 5-8 Years’ Experience in a similar environment
Ekurhuleni Housing Company (EHC) is a municipal entity set up in 2000. It was started to undertake the development and management of rental housing stock for low and moderate-income households in the City of Ekurhuleni. EHC is a social housing institute for the low-income earners established in terms of the Social Housing Act, Municipal System Act and the MFMA. EHC targets to scale up rental and social housing units under management within the next 5 years all within the City of Ekurhuleni; and continue to provide quality customer service to the tenants taking residency in those units.
