Job Description

Cedarwood School is an inclusive, remedial Preparatory School (Grade R – Grade 6) and College (Grade 7 – 12) in the congenial country setting of Glenferness – north of Lonehill – for children who have mild to moderate support needs which prevent them from coping adequately in a mainstream school environment. Cedarwood School is equipped to provide a supportive, non-competitive environment where pupils can regain lost confidence and work to the best of their abilities and potential.

 

The following fixed term position is available from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020

End User Computing (NQF3) teacher
The successful candidate will:

  • Have a suitable qualification with a special focus on End User Computing or Computer Applications Technology.
  • Experience using an online system to manage unit standard submissions.
  • Have preferably worked with high school learners who experience barrier to learning
  • Preferably be a constituent registered assessor for the EUC qualification.
  • Adhere to the school’s ethos, mission, vison and values.
  • Have a police clearance certificate.

 

Preference will be given to BEE candidates.
