We require self-managing individuals with an eagerness to learn and grow with the team.

The role will require 5 ½ days per week commitment. As we will serve customers on weekends, we will require Sales Executives to work either:

  • Tuesday to Saturday with a half day on Monday
  • Sunday to Thursday with a half day on Friday
  • Daily shifts will span either 7am to 4pm or 10am to 7pm

This is a full-time role. Interviews will be held in Johannesburg. Only South Africans or individuals with an existing valid South African work permit need apply.

Duties and Responsibilities

This digitally-driven, customer-facing role of the Digital Customer Consultant:

  • Uses Carter’s systems effectively to perform their role in line with company operating procedures
  • Assists customers with new car buying decisions
  • Assists with vehicle finance and insurance product purchasing decisions
  • Co-ordinates trade in valuations
  • Provides great customer service while being the single point of contact for customers

Minimum Requirements

  • Candidates must have a matric certificate
  • Prior work experience in retail sales or similar is helpful but not a minimum requirement. Preference will be given to individuals with strong, demonstrable call centre sales experience
  • While RE5 is not required, having passed RE5 in short term insurance will put candidates in strong standing
  • Strong interpersonal skills and EQ is required – candidates will be rigorously interviewed for this
