Job Description

Employee is responsible for providing a support function to both the sales manager and customers


Duties and Responsibilities

General admin, order processing, data capturing, updating sales reports.

Keeping track of orders and keeping customers and the Sales Manager  informed in this regard.

Managing phone calls to sales department and relaying information to the correct individuals

Contribute to quality customer service by dealing with customers' queries and complaints regarding orders/ deliveries/ transport ect

Liaise with other departments that are responsible for completion of orders or providing service to customers 

Responsible for general personal assistant duties to the Sales Manager, including arranging appointments and  travel arrangements for the Sales Manager 

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
  • Certificate/diploma or other qualification in the field of sales/telesales/marketing (Proof required)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Marketing/Sales/Telesales
  • Experience in the Timber/Saw Milling industry (Advantageous)
  • Must be fluent in English (Fluency in Afrikaans and additional languages advantageous)
  • Computer literate (Excel, Outlook and word)
  • Strong Administrative skills
  • Good Interpersonal and Management skills
  • Good communicator
  • Must be able to work well with customers and team members
  • Work well under pressure
  • Self-driven, motivated, friendly, energetic and confident
  • Own transport

Salary: R11 000 – R16 000 depending on experience

Working hours: 07h30 – 16h30 will be required to work overtime from time to time
