Job Description

Help us build a user community for our great software.  We are looking for interns to help with promotion of our products via forums and community sites. As a successful applicant you will be trained in our enterprise software and will be tasked in finding common development problems that can be solved by use of our products.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We build software ranging from development tools to reconciliation engines. Our clients are mostly large financial services companies with complex businesses and serious security and scaling concerns.

WHO ARE WE?

Our people are friendly, helpful and smart with interests from surfing to nuclear physics. Some are quiet, some are loud and some are downright weird.

HOW DO WE DO IT?

We work in small teams using an iterative development process that is continually evolving to suit our needs. Code reviews, automated builds and unit tests are all part of the routine. Our infrastructure runs on AWS and Azure.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

You will need to clearly articulate how to solve the problem and suggest the business case for using the software.  Applicants are to be incentivised by downloads of the software directly resulting from their proposed answer.

Minimum Requirements

 

  • B.Sc, or IT degree with computer science and other related subjects as majors
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving and good analytical skills    
  • Enjoyment of software development and understanding of business logic
  • Experience in c#, html, javascript, agile environment, relational databases, nosql databases, code generation
