OVERVIEW

:

The purpose of this position is to provide for the Planning and Execution of the Companys overall Sales and Marketing Strategy and the management of the sales division in terms of performance. This position is required to plan, direct and coordinate the actual sales within the organization by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and monitor the preferences of customers.

 

 

 

MIN SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQ

 

:

•     Sales/Marketing degree or diploma.

•     8-10 years experience in a similiar role in a similar industry.

•     Must have exposure and experience in managing multi brand products.

•     Must have exposure and experience in managing extensive sales network across SA and in Africa.

AREAS

 

:

•      Responsible for the successful management of the needs of customers in order to meet the objectives of the company's overall business plans and strategies 

•      The position specifically is responsible for field sales, inside sales and all customer support functions of the business. 

•      Define and manage the monthly and annual sales objectives for all of the sales personnel. 

•      Establish compensation plans for all sales personnel including salary structures, commission plans, sales contests and bonus plans 

•      Keep up to date with market and industry trends, competitors and  leading customer strategies. 

•      Establish, develop and manage new business opportunities and relationships in new areas while ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and growth objectives

•      Ensure achievement of sales revenue and acquisition targets on a consistent basis in line with defined budgets. Lead implementation programmes and initiatives to deliver continuous improvements in the end-to-end customer experience to increase customer loyalty, advocacy and life-time values ensuring timely resolution of customer issues within SLAs and customer expectations and a consistent customer experience across all touch points

•      Lead and oversee the field marketing activities ensuring performance, increased visibility and equity of the company brand, improved reporting, and improved relationships with all stakeholders leading to increased growth in the target markets.

•      Will be responsible for the review of the existing product lines and future development/improvement thereof.

•      Creativity/Innovation: Develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the organisation and to create new opportunities.
